Laser hair removal is the process of removing unwanted hair by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroys the hair follicle. It beams highly concentrated light into the hair follicles, the pigment in the follicles absorbs the light, that destroys the hair.
Laser hair removal can be used almost anywhere unwanted hair grows. Removal of facial hair, leg, arm, underarm, bikini line and other areas can be performed as well.
What is the down time and how many treatments will be needed?
There is no down time for laser hair removal. Multiple treatments will be required and discussed based on the area getting the hair removal. You may need anywhere between 3-8 treatment depending on the area of the body and the color of the hair.
